Featuring Glenapp Castle

THE LUXURY AYRSHIRE EXPERIENCE (3 NIGHTS)

The splendour of a magnificent Scottish Baronial style castle tucked away in the lush surroundings of Ayrshire -  home of Scotland’s bard, Rabbie Burns - will make this luxury experience one to remember. Your personal touring chauffeur will meet you in Glasgow and, in the comfort of your luxury saloon, you’ll head for the coasts of Ayrshire where you'll check-in to Glenapp

Castle, your home for the next three nights. Over the course of your stay, you'll have the opportunity to tour the surrounding areas and also enjoy some of the luxury experiences Glenapp has on offer.  From bee-keeping, to perfume making, to forest bathing, Glenapp has an array of unique experience to make your stay here highly memorable.

"Our whole trip was beyond proper description, but our chauffeur Adrian set the tone when we first saw him at Edinburgh Airport holding the sign with our name on it, with a welcoming smile and a warm personality. He has greatly added to my memories… and my goal to 'live a great story'."

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Day 1

Upon arrival at Glasgow Airport or train station, you will be met by your own private chauffeur and escorted to your pristinely presented chauffeur driven hybrid saloon. Soon you will leave the city behind and, in less than 30 minutes, the sea and Ayrshire coast will appear on the horizon, setting the scene for a memorable four days in Scotland. Depending upon your schedule, it would be remiss of any visitor to Ayrshire not to connect with the legacy of Robert Burns, Scotland’s Bard, who was born in the village of Alloway, just to the south of Ayr. From here, the road hugs the coastline and gently winds its way south towards Ballantrae, and the luxurious splendour of Glenapp Castle, your home for the next three nights.

Day 2

Having had the opportunity to browse the tempting selection of activities available at the castle - perhaps via the hotel's rather excellent app - and having then confirmed arrangements upon arrival, your chauffeur will be available this morning for an off-property excursion while your activity preparations are put in place, allowing you to become acquainted with this secret corner of Scotland. Close by is Castle Kennedy Gardens with a range of flora and fauna rarely found elsewhere in Scotland on account of the influence of the Gulf Stream and the fact that the sea bounds the gardens on two sides. Upon returning to Glenapp for lunch, the afternoon can then be filled with one of the Glenapp’s magical and memorable experiences, which range from beekeeping,  to quoits, to perfume making and forest bathing!

Day 3

With a vast array of activities available at Glenapp, today will be reserved for the experience of a lifetime. By far the most unique experience would be a full day of sea eagle fishing for all the family. The day would begin with you becoming acquainted with this most majestic bird of prey before embarking the hotel’s private rib for your coastal adventure. Whilst aboard, you will have an opportunity to see firsthand the power and agility of an African Sea Eagle as it flies and dives between the cliffs of Culzean Castle and the vessel, reaping the food rewards from the water lapping the hull. Iconic Ailsa Craig will provide the opportunity for a picnic at sea and spectacular bird-watching before you return to dry land and the tranquillity of the castle.

Day 4

Although this may be the last day of your short break, you will still have the opportunity to make the most of the hotel's activities before your chauffeur appears at the hotel in the early afternoon and returns you to Glasgow for your plane or train home.
